Countdown Posts for 2008: -1

So I'm rotting on the seat right now, slowly sipping my ice-cold coffee and reading blogs... and I've just realised...

What the DNA happened to mine?

I always remember taking pictures and writing a post-it in my internal memory that's available in my head but I guess that either I forgot to Save it and Publish it on my blog, or my internal memory's full... probably just fragmented [and needs a defrag].

Well anyway, I think it's time to deal with a new project to mark the end of this year.
And trust me, it's hell donkeys a memorable year for me...

And throughout the rotting season of mine...
I've gone crazy over Ghost In the Shell...

I believe my eldest brother once asked me to watch it years ago, but I just couldn't be bothered to come around and do so. But I stumbled upon it a few weeks back and never have stopped looking back since. Heh.

Basically the show originated from a manga written by Shirō Masamune[士郎 正宗], who is also responsible for the famous Appleseed. Well, so far I've watched Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C and currently watching Ghost In the Shell: 2nd Gig and boy, if animes are all like this, I'll be in for a good ride.

The show genre is cyberpunk (or so what Wikipedia explains it), and it's basic setting is during a time where technology, cyborgs, humans, artificial intelligence are common and normal. For example, if your heart goes kapoot, you can go through an operation and out comes you with a mechanical heart. Cool huh? So far because of such available 'operations' you can remain alive in terms of soul even when your original body has died out. It revolves around our sexy woman, Major Kusanagi Motoko [草薙 素子], who is a cyborg working as the squad leader of Public Security Section 9, which are responsible in handling technology-related crimes.

In Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, episodes are divided according to solo/standalone episodes and complex episodes. Solo/standalone episodes are individual cases while complex episodes are continous episodes which looks into the mysterious "Laughing Man" case.

Nevertheless, what I like most in this anime is that it's very much a brainthinking one, with a kick-ass, smart, can-do-anything cyborg lady who leads the pack of respectable males. Oh ya and of course... What I adored the most was...

Tachikomas!
They're blue, spiderlike robots meant for warfare and they're all equipped with artificial intelligence. Based on their setup, after every mission, they go for repairs and service which collates all their memories and thus giving them confusion towards their identities. They were junked away by Matoko because they started having individual character and deemed to be too curious about the world that they couldn't fully concentrate on a mission.

I'll give a spoiler - although they were ditched, they came back to help Section 9 when the company got blacklisted and condemned by the government for the wrong reasons. SO much so that they were recruited back in 2nd Gig.

They are so adorable that I'd love one for myself!

And really there is a mini-tachikoma available, made by Bandai. They can walk, dance and talk! (in japanese, of course) Although limited, I wish they advance it and I'll get one for myself, for sure. (Note to any future prospects out there: You have to bare with my excessive behaviour over such things.)

To see how adorable it is... here's a youtube video!

Its so early in the morning and I can't go to sleep.
And I'm fasting.

Ugh.
I dread mornings.

And as much as I love my still loving me even after so much abuse care laptop, I wish that I'm able to give it a rest soon.

And I hate to say this... but... UGH. nevermind.

The sushi belt that bites the dust.

I had a great time with Aisyah today.

Definitely -

I was a date - a date of catching up. And somehow at the end of the day, I don't know if telling her what happened was something right. I don't want her to hear a one-sided story. I hate to make assumptions that shoot blanks for others to bite the bullet for it.

Did I make a mistake?

She talked about things to get it off her chest.
We talked about things to have a second opinion.
I talked about things to share my feelings with her.

Is that a wrong thing?

We talked, like girls in their puberty age,
talking about the people passing by,
laughing at over nothing to be laughed about,
and not caring about the public's thoughts of us.

It was like lifting a whole truckload of weights off my chest.

People are shooting blanks, looking at one another biting bullets - either nailed by another, or just made by themselves.

If it's not Murder, it's Suicide. [cont. part i]

It's kind of hard to recall back what has happened this past few weeks. But at these times while I'm thinking, sitting down, resting, even when I'm sleeping, it makes me have the need - something inside me is compelled to write what has happened this past 3 - 4 weeks.

You know, when you're sick, emotions tend to run high. You keep thinking and you keep pondering at everything that's life-related and at most times, as negatively as possible. The scariest part during the ordeal for me was the thought that I could potentially die. Death. Death sets in my thoughts. It tends to ring in my ears. Am I dying? Such prolonged fever - not to mention that its always above 38.5 degrees - 24/7. Will my body crumble? My body filled with enzymes and hormones go haywire? My cells die out of the heat from my body? Will my brain cells diminish and I start to forget more things?

Paranoia sets in... pretty deep.

I have been wondering, what has caused me to be this ill. What triggered this? My food intake? I think I was being careful during Hari Raya. Was there a great amount of stress? I'm still working on relief - and there's nothing much to be done. Was I stressed because I had nothing to do at all? Was I feeling any misery to make me feel ill?

Paranoia.

to be continued...

If it's not murder, it's suicide.

It's been so long since I've posted any entries.
But you have to pardon me for the past 3-4 weeks... I have my rights in doing so. And you'll find out soon enough if I don't have the writer's block today.

It's been so long since I've let my ears feed music and music take over my body.

And during these past 3-4 weeks, I've been going through so much feelings and thoughts. The time pass by fast, and slow... all at the same time. My emotions run higher during these period... but my body starts to falter and go into hibernation.

When you see life whizzing pass, people buzzing around you like bees collecting nectar, you wonder if you are of any significance in the world.

... I think I better write things on paper and ink first... it seems like typing don't feel quite right. and it hurt my eyes.

Irony, isn't it?

My Laptop Suffered The Blue Screen Of Death.

And by the time I rebooted my still-alive-and-kicking-for-almost-5-years laptop (who also have survived through 2 cracked LCD screen, 512MB RAM, 2nd keyboard and 2nd DVD driver) it states out in a black screen:

Missing Operating System

I almost fainted there and then thinking that that's the end of my laptop's hard earning, worthwhile life. Doesn't help to know that I still can't get a hold of something to lighten this baby's workload over the years. The only thing I could reach out for was my recovery CD.

Reformatting is the way to go... If it works, that is...
And it works! Presto!

But my setbacks... All the pictures I was doing for this blog, and didi hw's blog is... *poof*
SAD RIGHT! like omg. I took so long to Screenshot the pictures I had for my Blog and save at the most highest quality then Macromedia Flash-ed it and Saved it again and I didn't even manage to save the last few pictures in my imageshack!

./wrists (just acting emo-ish)

Oh well.

On a lighter note, though not so light anyway... I have to settle down my heart and mind. 'Cos right now, its jumping around and feeling all weird... and sometimes it gets cranky. I really hope that whatever path I set out to choose, given by an amazing amount of choices that I'm still thankful for, is really the One that I can afford, the One that I can manage for a long time, the One for Me.

Nur Faiqah's 5th Birthday

Those pics are taken from her birthday cake shaped like a castle - done specially by her mom, my sister. I haven't gotten my hands on the pictures from my dad's camera, since he needs it for work. Oh well.

Oh yeah. And judging from the quality of the pictures, I think it's high time I should get a new do-it-all phone. And the one that I'm currently eyeing so much right now is...

The sexy C905 Sony Ericsson Phone.
HEHEHEHHEHE

And the comparison chart between K800i and C905 are stated by SonyEricsson.com are as of below:

Facebook: Activate your account or it will be closed within a week

Okay... So I was rotting my time away at Facebook and I saw something peculiar when I checked my Notification tab:

(Look at the first notice)

I knew that, with experience, I shouldn't be even clicking towards that application and think about anything else. But another so-called friend also suffered the same thing -
(he's my elven blood member)

I doubt that Facebook is that pathetic to make you install an Application just to activate your account. Facebook doesn't need to re-activate your account, since you're rotting in Facebook, and you saw this notice. Plus the application itself isn't from Facebook.

I guess the maker of this application is just so bored and is in dire need to do some social experiment.

Just in case, avoid it since it will gain access to your account information. If you already have it as an application, block it or delete it. After that, change your password, just to be on the safest side.

Review:

At first, when the single "Disappear" came out, I was very enthusiastic about the whole album, thinking that there's a new tune coming out (judging from the new guitarist from the previous Acceptance). Basically I was hoping for sounds like their first two albums (ie. Blueprints for the Black Market and Never Take Friendship Personal)... but most of the songs are very mainstream-like; somewhat like their third album, Cities.

The two tracks that attracts me alot today are Retrace and Miserabile Visu (Ex Malo Bonum). I have to admit, it gets addictive, even though the songs aren't like how I expect them to be. Re-recording Feel Good Drag is something I have to applaud the band because the song have such an awesome exploding tunes with it.

Miserabile Visu (Ex Malo Bonum) is A Terrible Event (Out From Bad Comes Good) in Latin. Basically this song is very subtlely based on the band's beliefs. Pretty epic like *(Fin). I'm actually so loving it. Hey, I'm the one who wears my belief and still rock it out when Anberlin came over to Singapore. Heh.

Otherwise, there are different guitar riffs and sounds due to Christian Edwin McAlhaney, who was from Acceptance and this would be his first time recording with Anberlin, I believe. Heavier than that from Cities.

Overall, it's easy to listen to, and in no time, you'd be enjoying it! =]

Anberlin : New Surrender Lyrics

The Resistance (3:17)
You wanna watch us break?
Be the first to take us down
Put your tape alone
And there’s no stopping us now
You called me mental
Your speeches are maligned
Take down this modern town
Four words penned with you in mind

Speak
Speak for yourself
You paper tigers
You crash where you stand
You've got a riot on your hands
Speak
Speak for yourself
You paper tigers
Too late to make demands
When you've got a riot on your hands

Silent alarms are ringing
Sounds of revolt draw near
A new united front
That you will come to fear
We will hold together
To become the change
Those are the voices
With every common man engaged

Speak
Speak for yourself
You paper tigers
You crash where you stand
You've got a riot on your hands
Speak
Speak for yourself
You paper tigers
Too late to make demands
When you’ve got a riot

Ignite and watch us burn
Til every embers turn
My God we'll feel inspired
When we set your walls to fire

Breaking (3:26)
Do you memorize theatrical lines
that seem to lead them in
Play the role with the good girl heart
oh the tangled web within
Who was it that lead you on
that made you want to hurt me so
Who are you out to forget
who's forgot you long ago

Do you still feel it
calling in the act tonight
do you still feel it
seems like you've done this before
You make breaking hearts look so easy
seem like you've done this before
You've got breaking hearts all but down
and you've done this, you've done this before
You make stealing hearts look so easy
Where is the girl I adore
You've got breaking up all but down
I can't love a thief anymore

Do you collect the souls you've lost
in the top of your dresser drawer
count the number of tears displaced
on lonely bedroom floors
where the shape of your heart once was
slowly takes the place of you
will they hold the memories now
of the love I though I knew

Do you still feel it
calling in the act tonight
Do you still feel it
Seems like you've done this before
You make breaking hearts look so easy
seems like you've done this before
You've got breaking up all but down
and you've done this, you've done this before
You make stealing hearts look so easy
Where is the girl I adore
You've got breaking up all but down
and I can't love a thief anymore

You make breaking hearts look so easy
You've got breaking up all but down
You make breaking hearts look so easy
Seems like you've done this before
You've got breaking hearts all but down
You've done this, you've done this before

The most you could hope to be
now just a bitter sweet memory

Blame Me! Blame Me! (3:09)

And we could ride all night
To the pace of a blinking light
Wishing traffic was faster
Traffic was faster
Keeping safe distance
But courting disaster
We could dance all night
To the sounds of a starting fight
Hoping change would come around
Change would come around
Amazing division
How sweet the sound

Blame Me! Blame Me! Blame Me!
For mistakes you've made
But you can't own
Hate Me! Hate Me! Hate Me!
For every honest word
That you postpone
Leave me out of this
Life's a sinking ship
So blame me, blame me, blame me
For mistakes you've made
But you can't own

And we could stare all day
At problems that will go away
Silence is pounding
Silence is pounding
You're wearing me down
These corners, they're rounding
We could scream all night
You know there's love still left inside
Stop saying you're sorry
All of these words feel so very empty

Blame Me! Blame Me! Blame Me!
For mistakes you've made
But you can't own
Hate Me! Hate Me! Hate Me!
For every honest word
That you postpone
Lights on sinking ships
Are gleaming! gleaming! gleaming!
For mistakes you've made
But you can't own

Torturing ourselves
We must be into the abuse
If you're the rope that ties us together
Then please make me a noose
Make me leave and beg me just to stay
Used to run to my arms
But now i'm walkin away
You come and go as you please
I'm like a part time lover
With well worn knees
Well come on

Retrace (3:51)

Oh, how I've tried to get you out of my head.
And I lie broken in words I said...
Never thought I'd walk on this street again.
Standing where it all began.

Tried to forget when I left this town...
But it takes me right back when I come back around.

Retrace the steps we took on that long summer night.
I'm there by your side.
Retrace the steps we took when we met worlds away.
Counting backwards while the stars are falling.

Oh, how I find, every subtle thing screams your name.
It reminds me of places and times we've shared.
Couldn't live locked in these memories.
Now i'm chained to my thoughts again.

And I tried to forget when I left this town...
But I'll take you right back if you come back around.

Retrace the steps we took on that long summer night.
I'm there by your side.
Retrace the steps we took when we met worlds away.
Counting backwards while the stars are falling.

I need some shelter. I need some safety.
Photographs, they haunt me lately.
Chasing shadows as the evening takes me.
I'm still searching, but the pictures fading.

Retrace the steps we took on that long summer night.
I'm there by your side.
Retrace the steps we took when we met worlds away.
Counting backwards. Still counting backwards.

And no where else has ever felt like home.
And I can't fall asleep when i'm lying here alone.
I replay your voice, it's like you're here.
You move the earth, but now the sky is falling.

Retrace the steps we took on that long summer night.
In my mind, I'm back by your side.
Retrace the steps we took when we met worlds away.
Counting backwards while the stars are falling.

Feel Good Drag (3:08)

Disappear (3:37)

We're the last of the sleepless ones
Left behind by those we left behind tonight
Quiet now let our poison take
Were we always just your lost cause mistakes

Wait for me, will you wait for me
Need you on my side
Way for me, make way for me
With arms wide

Alone, left alone
Watch us slowly disappear with time
Unknown, still unknown
Forgotten, lost, and left behind

Dark lit streets are no place for kids
But it gives us more of a home than you ever did
We're the silentists left to our own demise
You're still our last chance to get out of this place alive

Wait for me, will you wait for me
With arms wide

Alone, left alone
Watch us slowly disappear with time
Unknown, still unknown
Forgotten, lost, and left behind

Breathe (3:35)

This is surrender
to a wartorn life i've lived
scars and stripes forever
in need of change i can't resist

no need to hide anything anymore
cant return to who i was before

i can finally breathe
suddenly alive
i can finally move
the world feels revived

this long of a struggle
finally opened up my eyes
revolutions not easy
with a civil war on the inside

no need to hide anything anymore
cant return to who i was before

i can finally breathe
suddenly alive
i can finally move
cause I realise

i can finally breathe
suddenly alive
i can finally move
the world feels revived

i can finally breathe
suddenly alive
i can finally move
cause I realise

i can finally breathe
suddenly alive
i can finally move
the world feels revived

I can finally breathe
I can finally move
the world feels revived

Burn Out Brighter (Northern Lights) (3:34)
Live; I wanna live inspired.
Die; I wanna die for something.

Racing towards the heavens, I fell into a pitch black.
I'm moments from landing, and I'm shaking like a heart attack.

Lose no time; cannot survive.
I made mistakes in the past.
Need a chance; can't take it back.
Wish I could set things right tonight.

Live; I wanna live inspired.
Die; I wanna die for something higher than myself.
Live and die for anyone else.
The more I live I see, this life's not about me.

All I know spins out of control.
Wonder what's next for heart and soul.
Nothing I have can save me now.
Here in what maybe my final hour.

It's my time, cannot survive.
I made mistakes in the past.
Need a chance; can't say goodbye.
Wish I could set things right tonight.

Live; I wanna live inspired.
Die; I wanna die for something higher than myself.
Live and die for anyone else.
The more I live I see, this life's not about me.

Don't wanna leave this world, knowing I've lived in vain.
No time for myself; so sorry, so ashamed.
Don't wanna leave this life, knowing I've barely tried.
Chase down all my dreams that I've hid away on the inside.

Live; I wanna live on fire.
Die; I wanna burn out brighter.
Brighter than the Northern Lights.
Wanna live to feel the daylight.
The more I live I see, this life's not about me.

Younglife (3:40)

Hey brother, do you remember when
We used to play outdoors
Til the light was absorbed by the night?
Hey brother, it was an innocent time
We used to laugh til we cry
We're still boys on the inside
(I want to do it again)

The first time staying out all night
The last that we got away with lies
I can hear it in the back of my mind
Over and over again
(I want to do it again)

Late nights and early lights
Never thought it would come to a goodbye
I replay it in the back of my mind
Over and over again
(I want to do it again)

Lala la, lala la la la
Lala la la la
(I want to do it again)

Hey lover, do you remember when
We would dance in your apartment
Til neighbors would knock on your door?
And I remember, you remember when
We had no money to speak of
No where else to eat but your floor
(I want to do it again)

The first time staying out all night
The last time you look me in the eyes
I can see that in the back of my mind
Over and over again
(I want to do it again)

Late nights, all entwined
Made a promise to never say goodbye
I replay in the back of my mind
Over and over again

All those days gone forever
Wonder if we're going to ever
See all our younglife friends that we made again
Have we all lost connection?
The life pulls in all direction
Memories bring us back to where we've been

(I want to do it again)

The first time staying out all night
The last time that we got away with lies
We can hear it in the back of our minds
Over and over again
(I want to do it again)

Late nights and early lights
Never thought it would come to a goodbye
We replay it in the back of our minds
Over and over and over
(I want to do it again)

Lala la la, lala la la la
Lala la la la
(I want to do it again)

Lala la la, lala la la la
Lala la la la
(I want to do it again)

Lala la la, lala la la la
Lala la la la
(I want to do it again)

Lala la la, lala la la la
Lala la la la
(I want to hear you again)

Lala la la...

Haight St. (2:59)

Let's, you and me, make our way just beyond Haight Street.
Lets leave this life behind, forgetting all they say.
The time we had is time well borrowed.
Stay out all night, forget tomorrow.

Let's, you and me, make a night of it.
Old enough to know, but too young to care.
Let's, you and me, make a night of it.
Old enough to know, but too young to care.

The rear view mirror shows the times we're abandoning.
Let's leave this night behind, forgetting all they say.
The time we had is time well borrowed.
Stay out all night; forget tomorrow.

Let's, you and me, make a night of it.
Old enough to know, but too young to care.
Let's, you and me, make a night of it.
Old enough to know, but too young to care.

(Who cares?)
If there's trouble tonight,
(Who cares?)
'cause the kids are alright.
Tonight we'll take this town,
'cause we're old enough to know, but too young to care.

Let's, you and me, make a night of it.
Old enough to know, but too young to care.
Let's, you and me, make a night of it.
Old enough to know but too young to care.

(Who cares?)
If there's trouble tonight,
(Who cares?)
'cause the kids are alright.
Tonight we'll take this town,
'cause we're old enough to know, but too young to care.

Soft Skeletons (4:09)

Dear little girl, so much hurt for such a young age.
Trapped inside a pretty little lie.
Your bodies betrayed.

Don't fix your eyes on a fix you rely on.
Fixed her eyes on a fix she relies upon.

Stand unafraid, all the good souls stand on unafraid.

When life starts to burn, and the pain returns.
I just wish that I could heal the hurt you feel tonight.
There's life in your veins. These needles are chains to hold you down.
How can you expect to win this war?
Too afraid to fight. Are you too afraid to fight?

Dear little one, there was so much pain.
Time you can't replace.
Trapped inside, too afraid to cry.
And now hands and bruises cover face.

Don't fix your eyes on a fix you rely on.
Fixed her eyes on a fix...

When life starts to burn, and the pain returns.
I just wish that I could heal the hurt you feel tonight.
There's life in your veins. These needles are chains to hold you down.
How can you expect to win this war if you're too afraid to fight?

Stand unafraid.
All the good souls stand unafraid.
Stand unafraid, all the good souls stand unafraid.

When life starts to burn, and the pain returns.
I just wish that I could heal the hurt you feel tonight.
There's life in your veins. These needles are chains to hold you down.
How can you expect to win this war if you're too afraid to fight?
When life starts to burn, and the pain returns.
I just wish that I could heal the hurt you feel tonight.
There's life in your veins. These needles are chains to hold you down.
How can you expect to win this war if you're too afraid to fight?

Miserabile Visu (Ex Malo Bonum) (6:37)

A red priest broke into our classroom
Caught us children by attention
"Listen closely to the words I speak
Lord knows if we'll ever, ever again meet"

Spoke such words never spoken before
On the way he declared there were
Miracles like you've never seen
From a man who was raised up in the sea

A man is coming in thirteen-one
To charm the daughters and the sons
Scared for our lives, I turned to your hand
Hold this tight while we run, if we still can

What disasters may come
Whatever it may be
At the end of the age
It will land you and me
What tragedy may bring
Whatever may fall
The end of the world
You'll still belong

Before the red priest took his last breath
He told me, "Child, now don't forget
The sun will turn dark very soon
Your days are numbered when there's blood on the moon

"The earth will shake and the sky will fall
The eyes will open of those involved
Don't take this son, but you'll be killed
By the man from seven hills"

A man is coming in thirteen-one
To charm the daughters and the sons
Scared for our lives, I turned to your hand
Hold this tight while we run, if we still can

What disasters may come
Whatever it may be
At the end of the age
It will land you and me
What tragedy may bring
Whatever may fall
At the end of the world
You'll still belong

Look children to the eastern sky
When you hear the voice say your last goodbyes
Look there to the eastern skies
When the ghosts take hold of the men who died
Look children to the eastern sky
When your fathers weep and your mothers cry
Look children to the eastern sky

What disasters may come
Whatever it may be
At the end of the age
It will land you and me
What tragedy may bring
Whatever may fall
At the end of the world
You'll still belong

Look children to the eastern sky
When you hear the voice say your last goodbyes
Look there to the eastern skies
When the ghosts take hold of the men who died
Look children to the eastern sky
When your fathers weep and your mothers cry
Look children to the eastern sky

Have you ever?

Have you ever wondered why some people refuse to believe in the existence of god?

And have you ever wondered how ironic it is during medieval times men could put their heads to the floor for his "man who is appointed by god" (ie. kings) but never did more than that for the one who created him?

Have you ever understood the meaning of "a leap of faith"?

While some of us are born into the religion thought that we will have enough time to seek for truth but never had the chance to learn and understand any faiths at all?

And how closely bounded we all are in our beliefs, if we ever seek out for it, yet fight for the most trivial things, just because we believe we are right in it.

And how foolish we can be in doing something because we have the right to do it, yet it is so different than that when we are right in doing something.

And yet while talking about a person's wrongdoings, we have yet to discover the same for our own selves?

And when are we going to start feeling thankful for everything we have, and the chance to wake up again when the sun rises?

And how we tried to make time for something so basic, simple and peaceful that we could enjoy everyday, but we give ourselves excuses that we are too busy to make time for it?

Have you wondered about something that will make you feel humbled by whatever is happening around you and why it is possible?

You don't need to have an answer for every questions asked, but to just ponder on every single possibility is already an achievement.
Well~ I had an experience today...

which consists of fear of punctuality,
with smiles of uncertainty,
with un-assuring reactions

and of course,

with crazy laughter of nonsense.

I've been working since last week - hence more lack of posts.
Concurrently, I don't have a computer at my desk but when I get the permanent slot, I'd be more than sure that I might end up blogging more. Maybe not from the workplace but at least, I would be spending time at other applications at work and back home I would have nothing else to do than that to blog. Hehe.

Oh well just this short update for all.
And... someone already left for UK and I'm here, wondering what's going to happen with all of my social outings.

I've got a lot of angin (wind) in my body.

Ever since I had food poisoning last Wednesday, I've been burping, having headaches, sharp pains at my lower stomach, and releasing gas on the other end too. It makes me queasy, and I lost a lot of appetite. Plus it seems like I might have some slight sore throat soon. Ugh.

Anyway, my third round of going to Geylang today. Hehe. I guess there will be changes in the hall soon ;)

And please... no more sweet stuff for me. 'Cos it's getting abit too much during the fasting month. T____T

Have you noticed that breakups and getting yourself a loved one is purely contagious? And some, are like fishes. (Don't ask me what do I mean by that... Seriously)

P/S: Oi Hongwei Didi, when am I going to see you? ~_~ Always never make it one.

Indecisive.

I've been very stressed out lately nor have I been feeling at ease.

-------*

2 interviews, 1 coming up.

A) The first passed by like a breeze, that it scares me totally. But I was sure I could do better at it.

Like what people say, you have to go 'experience' interviews before you are good at it.

B) But what if I say that, my nature hasn't been utterly confident with my own capabilities. I quiver and get scared over the notion of a challenge unlike old times?

The choice is was...
1. more leadership, longer working hours, more pay, less curricular teaching
2. more assisting, shorter working hours, less pay, more curricular teaching

Obviously, I didn't know if I want to be selfish and start saying I would be able to manage a leadership role or start slow. Totally, a confusing moment for me. I have to think it through again before the results of these 2 interview sets in.

Someone told me I should give myself a chance - and go on with challenges. Some say, whatever you like will do. Some think I'm pretty fickle-minded. Some say, I'm too flexible until I end up pretty rigid at deciding what I want. Do I really want the first choice? I am happy to get a full day work, and a better prospect. But will I be happy with the second... Because I do not have the confidence yet and I do not have the experience to teach these kids before giving myself an answer.

I'm CONFUSED. Confused at the decisions I have to make. Because right now, I do not know which are the priorities for the sake of passions.

So confused I feel like postponing the third interview to give myself some fresh air before going through the experience again. And I'm scared postponing would give me another setback like the other time...

Jungle wa Itsumo Hale nochi Guu (ジャングルはいつもハレのちグゥ)

Hey guys, I know I posted this entry earlier without words, but I had to do it in order for me to even make a post. Heh. Anyway... Let's get on with it!
-------*

Title of Anime
(Japanese): ジャングルはいつもハレのちグゥ
(Romaji):
Jungle wa Itsumo Hale nochi Guu
(Direct Translation): The Jungle Was Always Nice, Then Came Guu
(English Dub): Haré+Guu

Hehe. Pretty long-winded, am I? Well anyway, to summarise it up, the anime is focusing main characters, Hale and Guu. Hale lives in a small village with a normal, mundane life until one day, while picking up some bananas, he was being chased after a Big Black Shadow. He whined it to his mom, who dismissed it as him being all cutesy with her and left him alone so she could go hunting with the rest of the villagers.

Somewhat, after the villagers have done hunting, Hale's mom, Wade, came home drunk and brought a cutesy little girl named Guu, who is around Hale's age, saying that she'd be staying with them since she has no parents. Hale, at first, was very very attracted to her smile, big cutesy eyes, and her charm. But the next day Guu, from a ^^v faced girl turns into a -___-" faced girl.

Then somehow weird things happened around Guu, which only Hale noticed and pretty much assumed (and probably got it right) that she was related to that Big Black Shadow that followed him home. Guu, meanwhile, being a new addition, comes along to 'spice' things up in the village with her antics...

It's a total wicked comedy, which makes you laugh even from episode one... and there's no stopping you from laughing non-stop.

In this episode, Wade went missing during a hunt, and Hale (above) was asking about what the villagers saw before she got missing... So they started saying A black, big, hard, shining, stinking, strange sounding monster...

And he starts to imagine how scary this monster is...

Suddenly - they all are at another scene whereby all of the kids in the class (ranging from kids to teenagers) starts to draw this black, big, hard, shining, stinking, strange sounding monster...

This is Mari, the youngest of the lot, and she seems pretty much in love with Hale, though, Hale, being a guy (coughs) doesn't notice it... She also have no parents, but her brother is the teacher of the class... So she drew the black, big, hard, shining, stinking, strange sounding monster... and it turned out like...

This...

Someone in class said that...
(the one on Mari's right... spiky hair dude)

She rebutts... (heh.)

He retaliates and shows a picture of.....

A transformer-inspired black, big, hard, shining, stinking, strange sounding monster...

The class isn't convinced...

The blonde dude said those words... and he showed his drawing...

Of a mafia.
(Recall: Asakura Yoh anime anime anime... Shaman____ =x)

But the big chested hair fetish Village Leader Said NO...

and drew....

A monsterish version of himself.

And everyone ignored him... =x

So Miss Guu came, and said...

*Look at her face. Hehe.*

Yay... Well...
Let's continue reading... =D

Guu asked:

Hale said:

*Guu draws*

*Guu asks again for more features*

*Hale describes further*

*Draws*

*continue drawing*

*continue drawing*

*continue drawing*

*continue drawing*

*continue drawing*

*continue drawing*

*finishing her drawing*

hehe go figure...

*runs*

*faints*

*cries*
.
.
.

Wanna know what she drew?
.
.
.

Well... You gotta watch it to find out =P

Toodles!
