Living a Life in Dire's Shoes

In less than a month, I've heard of many passings.

My grandfather,
My uncle's mother,
My aunt's grandmother,
My brother's best friend.

This is not inclusive of other acquaintances and their related passings.

The last passing is a generous man, who was an achiever and able to manage time between his parents, kids, wife, work and friends. It saddens me the most when his 3 young children still insist on meeting their late father after the burial process. The eldest told the youngest sibling that he won't be able to see father anymore. An eldest doing his responsibility at such young age... taking over his dad.

I cried, putting myself in his wife's shoes. His mother couldn't accept the fact that her child left before her...

It really makes me wonder, if God is trying to show us not to be complacent.

It's high time.

Get back down to Earth.

We feel the pain teaching us how much we can take...

... Reminding us how far we've come.

So many things I'd rather keep to myself.
Much for my family & close friends.
Little for my friends & my acquaintances.
None for the rest.

It has been a hectic first week of unofficial holidays.
More or less, I took 2-3 days to just sleep the day off - well, it feels good to do it somehow. To cover up the time not spent sleeping and to just not think about anything.
Other than that, I'd spent tonnes of times with my lovely family and friends.

I'm still not done with the blogskin - I've been procrastinating it for the pictures I took and I've been doing quite alot of reading. And I have a number of time-draining plans for this long holidays! Hopefully its all going to work somehow.

Recently, I felt like I'm all over the place - the room pretty much shows the state I'm in. Everything happens in a BAM, BAM, BAM! motion. But yeap, I'm picking up the pieces, throwing the junk and archiving what's done.

I've been very tired lately, had cold & fever repetitively, a pinkeye, constant headaches and sorethroats (which I'm currently having now and the paracetamol is nowhere in sight, damn!) - is it due to the current health state I'm in, or it's just another one of those phases. Either way, I haven't gotten myself a checkup for about a year already - and I know that I shouldn't be doing that, knowing my medical history for more than a decade.

Looking back a year ago, I could have been more wise.
Fuck. I'm sure that sentence will get me into a writing mood.
And now's not the time - no paracetamol means I need my caffeine.
Yes. I should be able to wean my cravings for it - but I end up eating something else. UGH.

Oh wells. I'll continue if I'm feeling slightly better after drinking tea.
Toodles.

I turn to see my faded tracks in the snow...

Blog's new update feature: Posting comments is now easier! Comments are embedded to the blogpost itself, thus you can comment there and then without the hassle going to another page~ :D
Note: You still have to verify that you're human with the 6digit verification code. Hehe.

Anyway, today's a long day, with lecture at a different theater. My goodness, it's so big, but the people who chitchats is as loud as ever. heh. Hollow LT, with just less than 200 of us. The canteen nearby was jammed packed with sardines people after lecture, thus we head back to our ole canteen. *sigh*

After which, it was art art art slab work art. I got my pot legs nicely... but I have not gotten any designs on it yet. STRESS. grrs. I don't know if i should chuck away my one side of frame idea... i realise that all my ideas takes humongous amounts of time. le sigh~

Nevertheless, am still awake but am lazy to do anything productive. zzz i feel irritated with myself. probably its those pms-y times.

.i'm not all hardcore, i melt at times too.

No intentions of showing my humble aquarium just as yet, (i feel insecure about showing it huhu) but maybe a pic or two wont kill me.

Make it just one. Hurhur.

One out of the five new additions in the tank - other than my suckerfish :D

...I've come so far with no idea where to go.

...And the men in the moon never makes his replies understood.

I haven't updated the past few days' pictures... pardon me. My darling E-PL1 isn't with me right now... am currently stuck in the library waiting for the time to pass and get my Furthermore, I'm still trying to figure out if there is a decent freeware that does watermark in batches. My photographic skills might be lower than amateur (read:noob) but hey, I mean, there might be some eureka moments and I could be famous the next day yea?

Even so... I hope I can upload the pictures I took today with my PNS. (My bag now carries at least 1 camera a day).

Being lomophillic. Out of all the tables that's occupied with all ladies, ours is the messiest. Heh heh.

June june june. I wanna see your bed! It may sound wrong, but wth. I'm straight, and obviously she is too. hurhur.

This lady never fail to suprise me with her replies. blur pic tho. Heh. I miss my E-PL 1 now. Boo.

(When am I going to name my darling techy stuff now! Maybe I'm feeling the same pressure like how a soon-to-be parent would feel. hahahahaha. merepekssss.)

I may realise that the difference in my focus when I use my normal PNS camera and my m4/3. It's like I've given myself a baised expectation when I'm using the different camera at times. Probably because of how we handle the camera. It might affect on how we actually look through our lenses. I'm still desiring for an EVF, though they say it's laggy through the viewfinder. Hopefully there are more software updates and improvements along the way.

Anyway, take a look at this : Seeing double: Canadian ad bears uncanny resemblance to S'pore M1 ad

Funny how such things can happen, on worldwide terms. Heh. But I'm not surprised. Like hey, how many goddamn artistes in our part of the world copied Hollywood and MTV. heh.

God... I better stop adding all this odd adjectives that doesn't make me feel any better than what I am.

Nothing's wrong with working alone in the library. I don't emo just cos I'm alone. In fact, I feel more at ease being alone(r). Bah.

Peace.

Flu. Cough. Clay. Brown. :]

Source: http://xkcd.com/128/

Hey loves, here goes another entry - though I have been contemplating and ignoring it for a bit [wait... that's only 2 days long. haha]. added Twitter widget in my blog, though i think i'd rather get a text-only twitter widget, and widen the blog entry width instead of adding another sidebar :] I was thinking of making another blogskin - one that's compatible with the old blogger, because I can manipulate so much things using the older one. maybe i should get a decent sketch of it, with proper colours and themes. i can Never seem to get a proper theme for it.

bathed my cat today - after trying so hard for umpteen times to get her into the toilet. haha. well, she smells like shampoo to me now, and i guess she kinda freaked out for tonight since she's not loitering around my bedroom's door. :3 and my current crabs' feed are really horrible, in terms of its pellets. it has such strong smell [of calcium?] and my crabs' droppings looks pretty iron-red, its frightening to me... i think i should ask my brother to go to his neighbourhood shop for a better feed. probably bug him to buy me shrimps and live worms to feed both crabs and fishes :] fatten fatten them up i must! hehe.

anyway, 2nd week of school still feels barely there to me. it scares me for a bit now, thinking about my poly days. those days when i suddenly realise that its already halfway through the semester and i don't feel any worried/rushed/irony of studying and finishing my assignments and such...

Life's the usual i guess, for about half a year already.

Trying to understand literature in a comic strip can even force me to wiki something (further improving my literacy) [ehems, that's dce for you] and eventually laugh at it makes me wonder if people would go to such an extent to even understand a certain topic.

it has come to my attention that the people around me has been talking about their views in religion. like as if its some in-topic (not inclusive of the malaysia's church attacks - we never talked about that, instead we just talked about beef/chicken and thedavinci'scode.) my close friends would have understood that i'm not judgemental when people talk about their views to religion to me, in fact, i find it interesting on how people view it. truthfully, to me, when i hear people's views on it, i can see how 'open' and 'direct' i can talk to them, and in turn, how i view them as a whole-person. i can spend hours talking to someone about their religion; only if they are talking about it and not preaching about it. if you have a good reason and a good base on why your views are as such, i wouldn't be against any of it since you have thought it out pretty well.

i realised something pretty obvious in men: they are influenced heavily by their friends. Random thought.

to end it off... let me write state sal's theory on facebook.
to me...
Facebook
1. is a chore
2. is making everyone a stalker (hey. like you never look at someone's albums without your nose in it)
3. is making PRIVACY a luxury.
... though i probably said this because i still can't upload pictures -_-"
....... i am very sure there are many people who'd agree with me. :]

Peace. Love you all *hearts*

Never the less - read this entry about facebook that i wrote of 3 years back : Psyched over everything unseen
