Review:

At first, when the single "Disappear" came out, I was very enthusiastic about the whole album, thinking that there's a new tune coming out (judging from the new guitarist from the previous Acceptance). Basically I was hoping for sounds like their first two albums (ie. Blueprints for the Black Market and Never Take Friendship Personal)... but most of the songs are very mainstream-like; somewhat like their third album, Cities.

The two tracks that attracts me alot today are Retrace and Miserabile Visu (Ex Malo Bonum). I have to admit, it gets addictive, even though the songs aren't like how I expect them to be. Re-recording Feel Good Drag is something I have to applaud the band because the song have such an awesome exploding tunes with it.

Miserabile Visu (Ex Malo Bonum) is A Terrible Event (Out From Bad Comes Good) in Latin. Basically this song is very subtlely based on the band's beliefs. Pretty epic like *(Fin). I'm actually so loving it. Hey, I'm the one who wears my belief and still rock it out when Anberlin came over to Singapore. Heh.

Otherwise, there are different guitar riffs and sounds due to Christian Edwin McAlhaney, who was from Acceptance and this would be his first time recording with Anberlin, I believe. Heavier than that from Cities.

Overall, it's easy to listen to, and in no time, you'd be enjoying it! =]
