It's My Safety You've Taken

Break fast at Causeway Point.
Ate McD - a medium & a large iced lemon tea, fries, and chicken foldover.

Bloated.
I felt like my stomach's floating or acting like one water-bottle on a ship facing a terrible storm.

What Makes A Man A Man - Emery

Take a look and see for yourself
What makes a man A Man.

And I, I will stare back to the life I left
Maybe you won’t forget... Who I am.

Wake up in the middle of the night, just don’t believe everything’s all right.
When these thoughts are running around your head.
And it's late; So you don’t really want to say good-bye
So you just head down the stairs that lead you out
The sound of silence is as loud as a gunshot

"Forgive me." were the only words they read
On the note you left.

Singing oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
I can’t find anyway out, I can’t find anyway out
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
I can’t find anyway out, I can’t find any way out.

I wish I could live where the sea meets the land,
The ocean and I would be the best of friends.
And I’d make her my own; I would float in her waves.
She would sing me to sleep as she carried me away.

Won’t you carry me away?
Oh, please carry me away.
Ocean, carry me away.
You’re my better half.

Singing oh oh oh, oh oh oh
I can’t find any way out, I can’t find any way out
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
I can’t find any way out, I can’t find any way out

I don't really want to sing anymore.
There's got to be something I could live for,
So just show me now. [Can't find any way out]
Everyday is just another regret.
It's time for me to give it a rest
And it's over now. [Can't find any way out]

A(nd) look and see for yourself,
What makes a man A Man.

I'm Only a Man - Emery

So, you'd probably think it might sound like Emery's previous album, The Question.

Well, you're nowhere near that.
At least, I was warned when I read a mag recently, by them themselves.

And it's cool to hear songs like these now,
'cos that's what I've been looking for,
momentarily,
the melodies are just right.
the drums. *thrills*
a man's voice. *swoons*

Sorrylah, no man gonna swoon me anytime soon.
So, it ain't wrong to take advantage of this. =D

I'm Only a Man is the latest album from Emery that's just released on 2nd October.
And yeap, I have the songs, but not the Deluxe Edition.

Tracks 12 to 16 are available in I'm Only a Man (Deluxe Edition)

After listening to it, I guess the theme is heavily biased on the album's name itself. Songs that will relate to a man's life, his living mistakes, and his thoughts.

Love almost all of the tracks, though From Crib to Coffin is a pretty long (10mins) song.

I really love What Makes a Man a Man a bit too much for now.
Can't Stop the Killer is awesome. Haha. Love the lyrics a hell lot. =]
After the Devil Beats His Wife's lyrics are quite confusing at the end of it.
World Away... *speechless*... in a good way, of course! =]

Suprisingly, I felt like I already knew their lyrics beforehand. Thus I went to check one of my diaries, where I wrote tons of unfinished lyrics, phrases, notes and *ping ping!* some of them are in there. Haha. The more I'd love it 'cos now it feels like my words found their match =]

If I'm not lazy I'll do something to prove it.
But well, you know, it's just tedious =x
You know that's a lie but just pretend that it ain't, alright? =x

New Songs in Playlist

Just uploaded 2 new ones today and yesterday...

This Circle - Paramore (lyrics here)(my imeem here)
The Ponytail Parade - Emery (lyrics here)(my imeem here)

Otherwise, you can just try to check it out with the playlist I have in this blog, on your left)

For all that I wish to say is... for the lyrics of

-- This Circle (in my view) - she's trying to tell him to start talking, stop pretending, stop ignoring everytime a problem arrives, as the problem will never go away by itself. Quite explanatory...

-- The Ponytail Parades, awesome song. But, I'd seriously take away the last two lines though it sums it all. Since I can't, I'll just interpret it a different way...

Walk away from me (yes because that's all I can see what should be done)
This night is done (another sleepless night just passed and my question's will just repeat itself again)

Enjoy...

Apologies, that's what I want to interpret it. Not in another different light that many would have...
