Déjà vu

I have many many weird dreams recently and it's not that uncommon for me to experience dejavu.

And today, while I'm reading the Quran halfway through the passages, I had a dejavu experience, and a stinging sound heard on the right ear. I had to just check the passage for its meaning.

Bismillahhirahmannirrahim...

Al-Quran: Surah An-Nisa
69. All who obey Allah and the apostle are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship!
70. Such is the bounty from Allah. And sufficient is it that Allah knoweth all.
71. O ye who believe! Take your precautions, and either go forth in parties or go forth all together.
72. There are certainly among you men who would tarry behind: If a misfortune befalls you, they say: "(Allah) did favour us in that we were not present among them."
73. But if good fortune comes to you from Allah, they would be sure to say - as if there had never been Ties of affection between you and them - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; a fine thing should I then have made of it!"
74. Let those fight in the cause of Allah Who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of Allah,- whether he is slain or gets victory - Soon shall We give him a reward of great (value).
75. And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!"
76. Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan.
77. Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were told to hold back their hands (from fight) but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When (at length) the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! a section of them feared men as - or even more than - they should have feared Allah. They said: "Our Lord! Why hast Thou ordered us to fight? Wouldst Thou not Grant us respite to our (natural) term, near (enough)?" Say: "Short is the enjoyment of this world: the Hereafter is the best for those who do right: Never will ye be dealt with unjustly in the very least!
78. "Wherever ye are, death will find you out, even if ye are in towers built up strong and high!" If some good befalls them, they say, "This is from Allah.; but if evil, they say, "This is from thee" (O Prophet). Say: "All things are from Allah." But what hath come to these people, that they fail to understand a single fact?
79. Whatever good, (O man!) happens to thee, is from Allah. but whatever evil happens to thee, is from thy (own) soul. and We have sent thee as an apostle to (instruct) mankind. And enough is Allah for a witness.
80. He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah. But if any turn away, We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds).
81. They have "Obedience" on their lips; but when they leave thee, a section of them Meditate all night on things very different from what thou tellest them. But Allah records their nightly (plots): So keep clear of them, and put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.
82. Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.
83. When there comes to them some matter touching (Public) safety or fear, they divulge it. If they had only referred it to the Messenger, or to those charged with authority among them, the proper investigators would have Tested it from them (direct). Were it not for the Grace and Mercy of Allah unto you, all but a few of you would have fallen into the clutches of Satan.
84. Then fight in Allah.s cause - Thou art held responsible only for thyself - and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and in punishment.
85. Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein: And whoever recommends and helps an evil cause, shares in its burden: And Allah hath power over all things.
86. When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy. Allah takes careful account of all things.
87. Allah. There is no god but He: of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt. And whose word can be truer than Allah's?

Day 4 top
The sura anNisaa means women. This sura talks about how to make a home and the necessary things needed in the home - i.e how one should behave, how good manners should be brought into the home & talks about children & wives. It also talks about how to run a city. The first part talks about the wealth and the second part talks about the relationship between husband & wife. The role of wealth is similar to the blood in our body. So, if money is the cause of disharmony, then it will cause fighting. Allah has said that a household will be happy one if the husband and wife live in harmony and are happy together and if the children are obedient. That is why Alllah has repeatedly mentioned women's rights in the Quran, so that there is no arguments in any house. If there are arguments, then hate will start to develop, then the whole order of things will be bad. That is why Allah has revealed a Sura in women's name. In the Quran, there is no Sura in the name of men. This Sura mentions women's rights. Islam is a protector of women's rights. Before Islam, girls were buried alive and women were given a lot of pain. Islam gave women respect. You see posters of semi-naked women everyday all over the place. This is disrepectful to women. Women who work during the day also have to do the housework and do the shopping and look after the children's needs. In Islam, Allah has made women the queen of the house. When a girl is born, Allah sends salaam and a message that Allah's mercy has arrived in your house. Allah is the one who will provide means to feed her. Allah is the initial guarantor of the girl, then the parents and brothers, then the husband after she gets married, then her children are her guarantors. She is the queen of the house. She should rest and not do all the extra hard work which a man has to do (i.e. provide food , shelter and clothes). Islam gives women this respect. If there is no man to provide this, then the woman has no choice but to work to provide a living for her family.

When a man dies, the first thing to do is to pay for his burial from the money he has left behind. Then his debts should be cleared. Allah has mentioned twelve points regarding the money/estate left over after a person's death.

Allah says that if there is something that you dislike in a man or woman, then you should be patient. Live in harmony with your wives. If you dislike a woman, it is possible that you may not like one particular thing about her, but it is possible that Allah has kept a lot of good things in her. So, for example, you may not like 15 of her habits, but on the other hand you do like 85 of her other habits. If two pieces of crockery / utensils are together, then there will some noise generated. This does not mean that you destroy those crockery simply because there was some noise ! Allah says that consider the majority good habits and try to put them forward first, before the disliked habits. Allah wants husband and wife to be happy together. From the first day of marriage, the couple should love each other. After all, this relationship is not just for this world, it is also for the hereafter. Allah has given you the right to have a wife, so you should take good care of her. Quran then mentions who you can / cannot marry - i.e. cannot marry a sister, mother, daughter, breast feeding mother, etc - they are haraam to you.

Islam is the simplest religion in the world. Just as there are laws and rules within which one has to stay, similarly there are laws and rules one has to abide in Islam. For example, when you are driving down a road, you cannot just drive in the opposite direction down a one way street ! Islam is simple. Allah makes things easy and simple for you. In a house, in order to keep harmony, one person has to be the head - if there are two heads then there will be arguments all the time - Allah has said that the man (male) is head of the household. Husband and wife each have their own rights and duties. The provision of food, shelter and clothing, is essentially the duty of a man (or husband). Women who are pious/righteous protect the husband and his property in his absence. This sura lays out the rules and rights.

Day 5 top
The last part of sura an-Nisaa tells about the hypocrites, who fraud Allah and they stand up for Salaat lazily, just to show others that they pray. They are the last ones to come to Salaat and the first ones to leave. The Quran mentions that we should believe in all prophets sent by Allah. Allah says that Hadhrat Isa (AS) was raised to the Heavens by Him and that the Jews did not kill him. When Isa (AS) comes back, then all People of the Book will believe in him and Allah. Those who do not will be classified as kaafir and killed and then only Islam will prevail in the world. All of the prophets preached Islam. Allah asks the People of the Book not to add things to religion. Do not say anything about Allah except the truth. Allah says that Isa (AS) is son of Maryam and is Allah's prophet. Allah says that do not say God is three - God is only one. Allah has no family.
