Singfest 2007 Confirmed!
*coughs*
After Baybeats 2007 which will be held on 3rd August to 5th August, we would be rocking our heads and enjoying an event that will totally knock our socks off... Singfest 2007 is finally confirmed after so much speculation over the week(s).
This 2-day event, held at Fort Canning Park, will be one that many should be looking forward out to. Apparently, Channel News Asia (CNA) said about 14 bands would be present for both days.
There are also someminor changes to the lineup:
1st day event: 4pm -11pm
Pet Shop Boys
Sugar Ray
Sasha Bach Band
Shaggy
2nd day event: 1pm – 11pm
Avenged Sevenfold
MxPx
P.S - Oh, if I'm not wrong the tickets are a 1-day pass... so I pretty much assume that you can't go for both days with just $150, eh? Start saving peeps!
I'll keep updating for any further changes! Keep a lookout! =D

SINGfest 2007
Okay... I still can't believe the news that has just leaked out. *takes deep breath*
Alright everyone, here's the Good Awesome News.
SINGfest 2007 @ Fort Canning Park, Singapore.
(8th August 2007 & 9th August 2007) It will be held for 2 days.
And therumoured lineup would be:
Sugar Ray Black Eyed Peas Pet Shop Boys The Academy Is... Cobra Starship Gym Class Heroes MxPx Good Charlotte Avenged Sevenfold
So, Sugar Ray, Black Eyed Peas, The Pet Shop Boys, The Academy Is..., Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, MxPx, Good Charlotte, Avenged Sevenfold is coming to Singapore.
Hard to believe ya?
So, I went around finding for some proof/sources... here we go~
8th August 2007
[Band(sources;comments)]
Gym Class Heroes (Fueled By Ramen tour dates; partly confirming Good Charlotte & Black Eyed Peas - funny they put Singapore and Thailand together *frowns*)
Sugar Ray (official website; partly confirming Black Eyed Peas & Pet Shop Boys)
Pet Shop Boys (official website)
9th August 2007
[Band(sources;comments)]
Avenged Sevenfold (myspace)
The Academy Is... (myspace)
Cobra Starship (myspace)
MxPx (official website)
I couldn't find any decent confirmation for Good Charlotte (I'm not sure about it, 'cos in their website they look uber busy in a tour with Justin Timberlake) and BEP (tour dates shown in their website is by far for July currently) though. But, hey, sometimes, the words don't lie. So, I hope it's all true... :3
Well...
Maybe not for the ticket sales. *Read: refer to Sugar Ray website, S$150.*
Cheaper a bit lah. =x

While chanting 'omgicantbelievethis' and searching for some proof, look at what I've stumbled upon at Audioreload.

Heaven & Hell is coming to Singapore as well.
Actually, this post was meant to be for TAI, CS, and FFAF (plus H&H) but I apparently stumbled upon more news instead.
What I'm trying to point out is Saosin and Paramore might be coming to Singapore probably at the end of the year too. I wonder how true can that be, but I'd be stoked if it is really true.
Psst... While I was trying to find the news out, take a look at this~
The vid's title is Saosin in Singapore 22nd May 2007
They apparently were here on 22nd May 2007 and some fans took Chris, Beau and Justin out to Upper Serangoon for a whooping S$50 durian treat. Plus, (from what I read in the forums), they also got some tattoos done. Dang. I'm so envious now.
There's quite alot of pictures of Saosin in Singapore.

So happening right? Lol.

Amidst all these awesome bands, August has the National Day aura, even if I catch all of them, I don't want to miss National Day Parade too. >.< *stress*
